Laura Angelucci, LCSW

Vice President, Administration

Laura Angelucci has been with UCAN since 1991, beginning as a Residential Caseworker and followed by positions as Family Reunification Worker, Director of Residential Casework Services, and Director of Clinical & Case Management Services.  From 1999-2004 Laura served as Vice President of Residential & Education where she was responsible for a 70 bed residential program and a six bed group home for youth who have experienced trauma and abuse.  In that position, Laura also maintained administrative oversight of the Private Therapeutic Academic School for elementary and high school students. 

Since 2004, Laura's role has been that of Vice President of Administration.  In this role she maintains overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the President's Office and has administrative oversight over the Quality Improvement and Human Resourses departments.  She serves as the Chair of the Risk Management Committee, Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee, Executive Sponsor of LGBT & Allies agency affinity group, and Facilitator of the Senior Leadership amongst other responsibilities. 

Laura received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Illinois, and her Master's degree in Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  In previous years, Laura served as the Vice Chair of Howard Brown Health Center's Governing Board, and also acted as a Chair for the LCCP Advisory Board.
