Scott Gebar

Chief Information Officer

Prior to Joining UCAN in 2011 Scott was Chief Information Officer of Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center, a Chicago suburb based social services agency. He also served as Vice President of Information Systems at National Surgical Hospitals and has over 21 years of experience in the Information Technology field within the healthcare, non-profit and government sectors.

Scott has served on multiple Illinois State technology committees to include the Illinois Primary Healthcare Association Electronic Medical Record selection committee, the DCFS SACWIS advisory committee and the Illinois School-based Health Center Electronic Medical Record selection committee. He has also presented at executive level conferences for vendors such as Cisco and HP.

Scott served 10 years in the US Army with extensive training in telecommunications engineering and has a BA in Computing from DePaul University. He also currently holds a Six Sigma Blackbelt through the University of Wisconsin.
