Carnival of Caring

THANK YOU TO ALDERMAN WALTER BURNETT AND CONGRESSMAN DANNY K. DAVIS FOR JOINING US TO CELEBRATE

THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF

REVEREND MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

UCAN, a social service agency,  welcomed hundreds of young people from community centers, schools, and houses of faith from all over Chicago to Seward Park Field House on January 21 to learn how to strengthen the world through partnership.

Students recreated Dr. King, Jr's historic march for civil rights. Later, U. S. Congressman Danny K. Davis delivered the keynote speach and recalled first meeting Dr. King, Jr in Chicago and listening to his encouraging speeches.
