Transitional Teen Services
Transitional Teen Services (TTS) work exclusively with older youth in DCFS care, providing all the services and support necessary to successfully launch these youth into independent adulthood. In its continuum of services, TTS has six programs which complement each other in the service of adolescent and young adults. The programs include:
- Transitional Living Program
- Independent Living Arrangements
- Partners in Parenting
- Alumni Services
- High School to College
- LGBTQ Host Home Program
Child and Family Support (CFS) is a fundamental component of the Transitional Living, Independent Living and Partners in Parenting programs. The focus of the CFS team is to serve pregnant and parenting clients and their children through a series of comprehensive assessments and interactive parenting approach. The mission of the CFS program is to break the cycle of generational abuse by providing a supportive environment in which our young parents can gain skills, maturity and confidence to become effective, nurturing parents.
