UCAN's 2013 Toy Drive
The holiday time period can be difficult for UCAN youth who are separated from their families and even for those whose families cannot afford to buy them holiday gifts. With the holidays right around the corner, UCAN is looking forward to working with you to ensure that every UCAN youth receives something special this holiday season. We hope to make sure every youth has a gift this holiday season and want to share with you how together we can make that happen!
How can you help?
UCAN will send out youth wish requests via email or fax containing specific items that youth would like. A client program profile enabling supporters to learn more about our young people along with a donor drop off form will be attached to the wish request. This year we are soliciting one item per youth to ensure that each young person has a happy holiday. Please feel encouraged to take on additional youth this year and spread the holiday cheer!
Many congregations or offices request large groups of young people and distribute the wishes to various people and families to fulfill; this is a fun way to help those in need this holiday season! We are also greatly in need of gift cards for our youth if you prefer to donate in that manner. We encourage gift cards to be in increments of $25 and $50 and they should be from one of the following stores:
- Best Buy
- Barnes & Noble
- Foot Locker
- Bath & Body Works
- Old Navy
Donations should be returned unwrapped to the address below by Monday, December 2nd attached with a donor drop off form indicating the name of the youth and the program number (for larger donations we can arrange a pick up). This will ensure that your youth receives his/her gift in time for their holiday parties in December!
